Amazing food and services! We came here with my parents and the food did not disappoint at all!! Dumplings, both soup ones and fried ones, were all tasty and the chili sauce on the side made it even better! The waitresses who served us last night were super helpful and friendly. We would definitely come back for more dumplings and would highly recommend this place!

Incredibly value, great service. I was sat near the door so it did get a bit chilly at times, but staff kept checking that I was okay, etc. Cash only. Can’t wait to return and try new dishes!

A very impromptu lunch yesterday. We walked past and could smell the deliciousness. It was so busy, which is always a good sign. Lucky enough we got the last table, sat down and quickly orders. I had the Stir Fried Pork Mince & Noodles and my hubbie had Stir Fried Noodles with Chicken (no photo as he ate it too quickly 🤦🏻♀️) and both dishes were delicious! Its a very cute cafe, that’s serving, what feels like, good home cooked Oriental food. Couldn’t ask for more. Perfect for a weekend impromptu lunch and will definitely go back!- Service

It’s not just the best food and best service in Cambridge — it’s the best in the world. The dumplings are simply out of this world; I’ve tried different places, but nothing comes close. The plated dishes are equally extraordinary — every item on the menu offers something different, and each one of them prepared perfectly. Main dishes are very good and depend on your selection and this restaurant tries to unify many distinct asian plates. The place is tiny with deliveries entering the place every three minutes and that does not help the atmosphere. Another issue is that it is cash only but this is well explained in the front door.- Service

Very tasty dumplings! I specially enjoyed the shrimp dumplings. The dried tofu salad is not too spicy 🌶 so I think everyone can enjoy it. The cream custard buns taste very good as well 😋 The only problem is that they only take cash, so remember to bring some cash. Also, there are sometimes some suspicious individuals walking in and out, so I would be careful with your belongings.
What a great authentic place this is! We love having lunch here, the service is always with a smile and they really do their best, even in busy times to be quick and efficient. Highly recommend if you are in the Grafton area and fed up with the usual chains that give you so-so food for the same price (what you see in my pictures cost less than 19£ and fed two grown people).
I came here for lunch and it was amazing! The staff was excellent, friendly and quick! And the food was just very very delicious! I can really recommend going there. Payment is cash only, but prices are quite cheap, compared to other places! I had a coffee, at the end which was also very good!

Definitely recommend! Amazing experience. Very comfortable dine in experience. The servers are lovely. The area is beautifully decorated with Chinese lanterns and decorations. And the food was incredible! I had the pork with kimchi and rice, can’t recommend this dish enough.

A café that offers good Chinese food and is popular with locals, always packed during peak lunch and dinner hours, which is no surprise at all because of the cheap and good Chinese food they offer! The menu is not extensive, but have a good number of different types of options like appetizers, rice, dumplings, buns, dessert etc. that is great for a quick snack, tea time and proper meal. Although they have a limited number of vegan options, I frequent here when I am in the area because it is one of my favourite spots for dumplings!
The food all seem to be fresh and made from scratch, my mum was particularly impressed with the Roasted Pork (Char Siu) as well which was well made. It does seem that there is a lot of care and love in their food. Portions are decent too especially at their price point. The staff is efficient, friendly and attentive, very impressive especially in the tight space during peak hours.
I definitely recommend Oriental Café to anyone for cheap and good Chinese food with excellent service.Definitely worth the wait! I have been to this place twice now and every time we had to queue and wait between 10-20 minutes. The dumplings are very tasty and you know they are fresh and handmade as they didn't taste exactly the same each time. Food arrives super quick as well and the staff is friendly.

Dumplings are one of the best I've ever had. And the pork stir fry with rice were also good. However, the stir fry noodles weren't so great (texture was very good but had no flavour). Also, not every dish is on the dish is on the menu, so you have to ask, which I found quite annoying. The staff were great though. Very friendly and professional. Overall, a great place to go!
